Emma Viskic is an award-winning Australian crime writer. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, Resurrection Bay, was published by Echo Publishing in 2015. 

She has won both the Ned Kelly S.D.Harvey Award, and the New England Thunderbolt Prize for her short form fiction, and has been published in Review of Australian Fiction and Award Winning Australian Writing 2014 and 2015.

Also a classical clarinettist, her musical career has ranged from performing with José  Carreras and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, to playing in the Phantom of the Opera orchestra. 

Emma is currently writing the sequel to Resurrection Bay with the help of grant from VicArts.
